    Hello, CowCraft community!

I have decided to make a tutorial explaining how to insert screenshots / images into your threads and posts. I do feel this information is useful especially when it comes to providing evidence which is a crucial part of reports. I personally find Gyazo to be the easiest way to insert screenshots because it is 100% free and you aren't required to make an account, unlike other programs such as Imgur.

    How to:

    1) You must first download Gyazo at https://gyazo.com/download (This page also provides you with further instruction on how to do so).

    2) Once you have the program downloaded and you wish to screen shot something, simply double click the icon that was saved on your desktop. Once you've done that, your mouse will turn into what looks like a + sign. Simply click and drag that over whatever you would like to screenshot.

    3) The image will then pop up in a new window on your web browser. Highlight the entire URL and click copy.

    4) After that, all you need to do is click the [IMG] icon on the tool bar above the text box, paste the URL in the box that pops up, and click "Insert".
It will look like this---> https://gyazo.com/94d033d1142e6b0c1a2c9112760b773d

*5) If you wanna get fancy, you can select the [IMG] icon instead.
IMPORTANT: If you use this method, after you've pasted the URL, you must add on .img to the end before you hit "Insert" or else it will not work properly.

    It will look like this:

    ~Hope this helps! :)

I recommend ShareX (https://getsharex.com/) if you're a little more adept; it uploads directly to imgur by default, and supports many other image hosts. :)

    I'd recommend Monosnap/Screencloud.

Thanks! I am used to the old F2 screenshot thing, but it sadly doesn't work. I'll use this if I can!

You can use F2 to screenshot quickly and save it automatically in your .minecraft folder, but you still need to screenshot with any of the programs the players above recommended, in order to get it in the proper format for uploading it onto threads.

It's an old screenshot program of Edy's that is no longer available to use.
