Welcome to DreamFest, NewDreamland's Server-Wide Party! After 8 months of working to finish NewDreamland, the time for Dreamfest has come. The DreamTeam is here to bring the fun back to Cowcraft's Towny. We will have 3 special events, each having a special prize.

Whenever you are not at an event, you are welcome to enjoy the town itself. We have plenty of things to do while there. You can also hop onto our Discord (invite: https://discord.gg/0vSxrYLYbQaeL9Pg) to chat with any who attends, or you could have your own personal calls.

Schedule (The times are in CST):

Start: (6:00)

Event #1 (6:15-7:15)
- Game: King of the Ladders
- Prize: Treasure

Event #2: (7:30-8:30)
- Game: Build Battle (at most 10 people per round)
- Prize: Tool Set

Event #3: (8:45-9:45)
- PvP Free-for-All
- Battle Set

Awards Ceremony (9:45-10:00)

End (10:00)

Guidelines for KotH:
- Whoever makes it to the top first wins.
- You are allowed to bring your own armor, but if you die and lose it, that is your fault.
- You are not allowed to carry any weapons.
- You are not allowed to use enderpearls.
- No teleportation.

Guidelines for Build Battles:
- You are allowed to bring your own material, but if you can't we will supply basic materials.
- Please return the material we give you, you don't have to destroy your build.
- Do not interfere with other people builds, stick to your own personal section.

Guidelines for PvP FFA Tournament:
- No teleportation.
- Weapons and Armor will be provided, you cannot bring anything extra.
- Please return the material we give you.

Winner will receive their prize at the awards ceremony. If you break any of the guidelines, you will be disqualified. It is for everyone's best interest that you follow these guidelines, please let everyone have a fun experience.

We hope that you enjoy this event, and you can help by spreading the message. We know Cowcraft isn't doing so well right now, and we believe that this can help bring some excitement.

How Things Went Down:

Wasn't exactly how I planned it, but it still was fun. Most of the events ended too shortly, so we were way ahead schedule, even having to do multiple rounds of certain events. Turn up was a little under what we expected, and a lot of the staff/volunteers who were supposed to come didn't, and some new ones had to be hired. But even with these set backs, it was still a fun night (at least for me), so I'd like to thank everyone who attended. We hope to be better prepared for next month's DreamFest, with much more things to do. Do not lock this thread, I will still be using it next month because we don't need multiple threads for the same topic. If you have any suggestions for the next event, please comment them, any questions will be answered.

Welcome to January's Double DreamFest, NewDreamland's Server-Wide Party for two weeks back to back! Due to an unfortunate event occuring in December, DreamFest had to be delayed. Luckily, DreamFest will now happen twice in the same month! The DreamTeam is here to bring the fun back to Cowcraft's Towny. We will have 5 special events, some having multiple rounds. - Only break the snow.
- Please return the material we give you

Guidelines for Trivia:
- Cheating can't be prevented, but is strongly discouraged and being caught will not go unnoticed.
- No blurting out the answer, this applies to everyone, even the audience. Use the lights to alert the host.
- Stay for the entire game, do not leave until all questions have been given.
- Be kind to your opponents and the audience.

How Things Went Down:

We will not have two DreamFests in a row anymore, I think that it the most important things to learn from this. The amount of participants was slightly lower than it was in November, which is very upsetting. We did learn a lot from these two events, and I think in later DreamFests, we will decrease the times for each event. We will keep having these until the server resets, so we encourage everyone here, even staff, to try and attend. We are really trying to make this server not boring, but we can't have a fun festival without people. If you have any suggestions, comment them.

With the server having problems with players, a better way to get people to come to events and the server is to post on forums such as planet minecraft. Lots of views and maybe some players will stick around??
