So it's no lie that I'm probably the main reason CreativeGod+ members lost WorldEdit access - not that it excuses the handful of times I took down the server last Christmas, but it was only a matter of time before someone placed a redstone torch, used "//copy" on it, and then selected their entire plot and did "//set #clipboard".

Anywho, that was a while back and the main reason for this thread is to ask for more perks because so far CreativeGod+ users have lost the following:
  • Exclusive pet (although after speaking to Edy there is plan to re-implement the pets plugin once the team over at SonarPets fix a bunch of bugs)
  • Island plots (these technically still work but the plots are very bugged and most of the plots are just water so it's a pain, and you can't use plot commands on them anymore because of the blocked-cmds flag in WorldGuard)
  • Marriage (this was cringy anyway but I don't see why it had to be removed, it's just another perk people have paid for that they can't use anymore)
  • WorldEdit (I've covered this one already but there ARE ways of implementing AsyncWorldEdit without being able to lag it out, believe me I've achieved this on my own server)
  • The //statue command from MCPainter is borked, it always errors on rendering skins
I feel like whilst we donated to help the server we haven't had much in return, so I'm requesting that the above features are re-implemented or we get new ones, such as:
  • The essentials.nick.format permission so we can have bold nicknames
  • More plot claims
I hope to hear back from staff soon

We were using AsyncWorldEdit when the crashes happened, even with async you are able to crash server. I actually went on other big creative servers (with 500+) players and managed to crash it myself lol. Current solutions for solving issue are:
- Somehow blocking specific items or blocks from being used by world edit (which I don't think is possible)
- Disabling //copy command since it allows you to use any block or item in world edit
- Disabling functionality of specific blocks or items, like sand falling. That is how I crashed the 500+ player server

But even then, what happens if you place a massive amount of torches and then break bottom one, or if you place a massive amount of doubles chests colliding into each other. All of these ways of causing lag would require limiting the functionality of the game itself. Like making sure if you break bottom torch, no torches above break and so on. I would love to bring back world edit, but it's going to take time to make sure there's no way of causing lag or crashes. Since I know some people are going to dedicated all their time of finding a way to cause lag on server.

I think this is the answer to the world edit issue, I've been on a different server before, this one allowed me to use world edit BUT the thing about there world edit is It only allowed you to world edit no more than a few hundred blocks at a time so the server doesn't lag and crashes. so lets say I had to world edit a floor that was 1000 blocks and the world edit only allowed me to world edit 500 blocks at a time, It would then take 2 shots to fill in the floor.

What if you make a big sand tower that goes all the way to top of the world and then you remove the very bottom blocks using world edit? 500 x 256 = 128k blocks falling,

Setting a limit is common sense, why would you even consider giving user WE without a limit lol. The issue here is people finding ways to cause lag in various ways such as falling sand.

i think that cg+ should NOT have world edit (for the reasons that were said by edy). but u are taking away one of the perks of being a cg+ (and paying 100$) and there for u should add a new perk. for every perk u take down u should add a new one that is equally as good (be creative / ask players for ideas of what they would like if u can't think of anything). and lower that dumbass price point!! 100$ like wtf?!?!?! do yourself a favour and change the price.

ACTUALLY it's $99.99 so that's already lower than what you have stated in your post!
I do agree with your point and I am willing to add world edit perk back, just going to disable some of commands and disable things such as falling sand. There's also multiple new perks planned too, I will do a big sale once all of perks for ranks are updated.

WE are starting to think about world edit too much, yes there are going to be few people crashing the server, yes it happened before but that person made there apology and to start a big thread like that he/she probably is truly sorry. But you can just take away irresponsible players abilities and only give it to the responsible players, quite frankly there are probably less than a dozen CG+'s still active on cow craft. Also, you are giving world edit to the people on creative who donated at least $100 to the server to help keep it running and get some perks. I really doubt with donating that type of money they would try to mess up the server. They want to help a server not mess it up. To wrap things up, if you think about this problem too much, it is never going to get solved. Nothing is perfect, but this is the best we can do. We do not have a server with hundreds/thousands of people. We have a small server were we know just about everyone. By now I think we can give world edit to all Creative God + players and take it away to those who misuse there power.

bruh they aren't gonna go one by one and see who still plays, who so we thing is responsible, ect...
lmao u live in a dream fam. word edit was a dumb perk to begin with. edy in my opinion needs to think of something to switch word edit than try to make it work its just better that way. apparently it ez to crash a server with world edit and u might think that someone is responsible then one day he feels like being a troll and crashed the server. and u can't just write the cg+ gets world edit but then after ppl buy it they are told by staff to what not that they can't have it cuz he isn't trusted cuz they don't know him yet.

I'm just going to rewrite what you said, But in a CG+ point of view,

Yes Minecraft is a dream world were you can build marvelous structures. World edit is an amazing perk which can help with your building speed and get bigger projects done. apparently it is easy to crash a server with world edit if you are not using it in a good way. But, people who play with it in a bad way at times are the people who don't deserve it, such as people like you because you were paid to grief (last thing in you history).

Now I just want to identify a few of the many problems in your short paragraph and show them in a CG+ perspective.

1) You- "lmao u live in a dream fam"
Me-"Yes Minecraft is a dream world were you can build marvelous structures"

Minecraft is a game were you can let your imagination do whatever. (In a positive way, not a negative way)


2)You- "World edit was a dumb perk to begin with"
Me- " World edit is an amazing perk which can help with you building speed and get bigger projects done.

You need evidence why world edit is a dump perk, not just because you say it is, your not running the show by saying world edit is a bad perk to begin with. I even put something down why it was a good perk, And don't give repeating crap why it is bad because we discussed lots of things on the forums about it. You need fresh evidence.

I don't want to make up any repeating crap but WE ALL KNOW IT IS EASY TO CRASH A SERVER WITH WORLD EDIT PERIOD. And this probably didn't go through your head yet but, just about all CG+ donated a lot of money to the server that they will most likely know better than to mess around with it.

It took me a few minutes to understand what you wrote because I don't read gibberish but people aren't going to buy world edit and find out they are not allowed to use it. They should be allowed to use it, but for future preference if they use it in a bad way the perk would be taken away from them. on the other hand, that would be very stupid if they got world edit and realized that they are not allowed to use it. AND IT WOULD BE A VERY GOOD THING IF MORE PEOPLE BOUGHT CREATIVE GOD + BECAUSE OF WORLD EDIT.


Thus, you are allowed to dislike or disagree on my post, I really don't care but you should be embarrassed about all of what you said because this thread is not for you to take advantage of because you not a creative god +. If you buy your rank then you'll see how good world edit can actually be.

basically u just admitted to the fact that its ez to crash a server with world edit which shows why edy dosent want to deal with all the trolls crashing the server. plus i didn't even grieff when i got banned for "paid to grief" and i got an unband after like 2 days when the bad was like way longer than that. the mod that banned me even said sorry after lol.

yet again u admit that its ez to crash a server via world edit. and there is always gonna be trolls that will crash the server and not think ahead.. why just wait till they crash the server?? lets just not give them the opportunity to do it in the first place.

As Myrtle said, Edy and the staff team do not have time to go around checking the CG+ members to see if they are abusive of their perks. There would be no way to go around and check every single person easily apart from using normal players, which in some cases, would not be reliable.
You do realise that there are people in the CowCraft community who would cause lag and attempt to destroy the server. I remember there was a guy who said something along the lines of this in chat: "I'm bored. Gonna go grief a small server, wish me luck!" Do you not realise that there are people on Minecraft that would pay the $100 to grief the server just for fun? Obviously these sorts of people have no life, so they can be bothered to spend all that time and money just to destroy a server.

Leave Myrtle alone. So what if she cannot use proper sentences? She comes from a different country and obviously has a bigger brain capacity than you (languages wise) because she took the time to learn English that well. The mistakes she makes in her posts are what I typically see English kids of her age write.

Just tell me if I've gone too hard on any part of my post, I just hate it when people mock other people.
